Head of the Department
The Department is headed by qualified Professor Dr. K. Sri Gowri. She has scholastic teaching experience of over a decade and serving RGMCET at present. She is a Graduate from SVU College of Engineering, Tirupati and secured Gold Medal, Post Graduate from JNT University, Hyderabad and pursuing Ph.D from from same University. She guided 20 B.Tech projects, 14 M.Tech projects, she published 22 National/International Journals and Conference papers to her credit. The department is prospering under the able guidance of Dr. K. Sri Gowri.
Faculty
The department consists of well qualified teaching staff with Ph.Ds and M.Tech scholars. There are four Professors (one visiting), three Associate Professors and 23 Assistant Professors.
Labs
The department has well equipped laboratories namely Digital Simulation, Power Electronics and Drives, Electrical Machines, Electrical Measurements, Control Systems, Networks and Microprocessors & Microcontrollers Labs and Electronics Devices & Circuits labs exclusively for department of EEE students.
Department Library
The department has a seperate library with 309 different titles and 353 various volumes of books are available exclusive for EEE students.The Dept. consists of 7 Inertnational Journals, 6 National Journals, 2 International Magzines and 2 National Magazines are available. Apart from the books the library consists of various VODs relating to the following subjects:

Achievements
Remarkable GATE results since the begining. Two University Gold Medals both won by Mr. A. Ramanjaneyulu (Best Performance in EEE Branch among constituent and affiliated colleges of JNTU & another for Best Out Going Student of all branches of all colleges affiliated to JNTU)
